Itinerary
Gather all the ingredients.
Using a rolling pin, roll each slice of bread until it is completely flat. Just cut the crust off each slice of bread, forming a 4 x 4 inch square. Spread each slice of bread with an even layer of mustard (about 3/4 teaspoon per slice).
Working with 1 slice of bread at a time, place a slice of cheese cut in half on the edge of the bread closest to you; place 1 hot dog horizontally on the slice of cheese. If necessary, trim the ends of the hot dog so that no hot dogs protrude from the edges of the bread. Place 1 1/2 teaspoons of onion horizontally on the cheese slice above the hot dog, followed by 1 teaspoon of relish.
Roll tightly, applying light pressure to help seal the seams of the bread together. Slice crosswise into 3 equal pieces (about 1 1/4 inches each) and transfer to a serving dish. Repeat the operation with the rest of the ingredients. Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 5 minutes, or according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Lightly coat the top and sides of the rolls with cooking spray. Working in 2 batches, add the rolls to the basket, spacing them 1/2 inch apart, and bake until the bread is lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
